
King’s Baptist Church has had a long history of supporting missionary work overseas. Currently we support:
Working at La Maison Esther outside Lille in northern France, ministering to people with with a variety of spiritual and other needs, and also supporting refugees.
Judy is based in Chiang Mai in the north west of Thailand and works in several contexts with different marginalized groups of people. She has been involved in setting up and running Hope Home for children with severe disabilities, and has helped at Agape Home for children and parents living with Aids. She also works with The Church of Christ in Thailand Aids Ministry (CAM). Judy attends a Thai church and is encouraging the members to enjoy spending time with disabled children.
Matt and Jo are working in Kunming in China. Matt is a former member of the Junior Church at KBC. He is a music teacher working with autistic children at the Autism Support Centre. Jo teaches in the local international school, which Samuel and Jasmine attend.
David is involved with the Joy Goat Development Programme in raising goats adapted to surviving in the rural mountain regions of Uganda, giving local villagers a good milk yield to provide them with a viable income. Jacqui works with Isaiah 61 Mission which seeks to support and train local pastors in various parts of the country.
Philippe and Josephine are involved in leading a wide range of ministries across the country, including: church planting, training and equipping local pastors, running orphanages and schools, and other development projects.
This is a Christian organisation which stands with the Dalit people of India, some of the most marginalized people in the world, through education, health support and economic empowerment.
